Ps 116:12-19
12 What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
16 O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people,
19 In the courts of the Lord’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
KJV
What shall I render? That my friend is a good question. What can I give to God, what can I give to Jesus that will even come close to what He has given to me? We can receive His free gift of salvation for one. How would it make you feel if you went to great lengths, to great expense to get a gift for someone and they would not receive it? Jesus gave His life to give us the gift of salvation. Then we can give ourselves to Him, give Him our lives for He does a better job with them than we ever could. We can make other decision, other vows and keep them. But none of this will ever come close to what He has given to us. Indeed, what shall I render?
