Ps 92:1-5
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
5 O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
KJV
What makes you happy? I recently read that happiness is based on happenings and that certainly rings true. The Bible says in verse four above that the Lord made the psalmist glad through the work of His hands. The work that makes me happy, the work that makes me glad above all others is His work in salvation. I am happy I am saved as I hope you are. Then I am happy because of his constant presence for it is so good to know that in this world I am never alone. I am happy as I stand in His protection knowing that He is constantly watching over and out for me. I could go on and on this morning but let us make it short, I am happy in the Lord. What makes you happy?
