Ex 14:13-14
13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

There are times when we simply must just stand still and wait on the Lord. Israel at the Red Sea had some options. They could have tried to go around, tried to turn and fight, or even given in to Pharaoh and returned to Egypt, they had some options. What God wanted them to do was wait on Him and truest in Him. We always have options and they may include looking for help from the world, trying to take care of things our selves, or simply hiding from our troubles. We also have the option of turning all things over to the Lord and waiting on Him. I find that when I wait on the Lord the outcome is the same as with Israel, God delivers.
