Daily Devotions

1 Thess 1:1-3
Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

Paul did not and would not forget the work of those believers in Christ, how they served the Lord and how they helped him. It is nice to be remembered by those we have tried to help and have helped. Sad to say that most of the time those acts of kindness are forgotten by those we have helped and that can hinder us in our Christian walk. Take heart dear one for our God never forgets. Those acts of service, those works done for Him and in His name are not going to be forgotten, they will be rewarded one day, our God never forgets. That is motivation enough at least for me to keep on keeping on for our wonderful Lord.
