1 Cor 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Are you thankful today? I am especially thankful this time of year as my spiritual birthday is just a few days away. I thank God many times for allowing me to have life in this world, for the family I was born into, for Godly parents and grandparents, for the childhood I had. I thank God more that I was born a second time, born again into the family of God, redeemed by the precious blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I thank God today for His unspeakable gift that has by grace given to me though Jesus Christ victory over sin, death and the grave. I thank God today that I am on the winning side because of Jesus and His free gift of eternal life. I am thankful for Christmas, not because I will get a gift or give a gift, I am thankful for what has already been given to me, a gift that is unspeakable for I cannot put into words what Jesus means to me.
