Matt 8:27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

This is a question asked about Jesus that is recorded three times in the Bible, “What manner of man is this”? I wonder what manner of man is Jesus to you today? For many the name of Jesus is just a curse word. For others the name of Jesus in one to be thought of once each year at Christmas time. For others a name to mock. And to those like myself Jesus is one to worship and praise for there is no other name like the name of Jesus. Jesus to me is a savior, my savior.
(Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.) For me my savior is my closest friend. (Prov 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.) For me my friend is one who provides my every need and is always there for me. (Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.) For me Jesus is my hope. (Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;) For me my friend, my savior, my provider, and the one close to me knows my name and knows me and leads me perfect paths. (John 10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.) That begins to answer the question asked in the verse above but does not even begin to say what Jesus is and can be for all who place their faith and trust in Him.
