Rom 3:24-26 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Very few things are truly free today. Stay at a motel and you get a “Free breakfast” as long as you don’t mind paying extra for the room. We recently got a “Free quote” from an insurance company and now get phone call after phone call for free as well. Very few things in this life are really free. But faith is Jesus Christ, salvation by grace, being redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ shed for us on the cross is truly free. God the Father gave His Son, the Son gave His life, and now we can be free from sin and death as Jesus paid the price for sin in full. Salvation really is a free gift offered to all. Unlike all the gimmicks today salvation comes with no hidden costs, no strings attached. All we need to do as sinners is place our full trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as we turn from sin to the precious Son of God who loved and gave His life for us. Righteousness in Jesus Christ really is free.
