Rev 19:1-4 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
KJV
With all the political unrest in our nation today one wonders who is really running the country. Our president claims he is strong and fit and ready for another term, then withdraws. Those who spoke up and said he should not run and were putting pressure on him, now say it is a shame he dropped out. What about those people who voted for him in the primary? Their votes were just thrown away and there are rules against that. Who is running the nation? For the Christian we have no need to be upset for we know who is still on the throne and who can direct us through these troubled times. Not only will that one direct us he will protect and provide for us as well. My God is still on the throne. Is yours? My God is not government, is not one that will be found in this world, is not one that I will vote for in November, my God is right now sitting upon the throne and will for ever and ever. When the Lord Jesus Christ is sitting upon the throne in your heart and life, when He is the one you are looking to, when He is the one in whom you trust, it solves every problem this world can throw at you. There need be no unrest in your heart today for God is still on the throne.
