Lev 6:12-13 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

What of your fire for the Lord today? Is the fire burning as brightly as it did when you first were born again? Is the fire burning as brightly as it did when God saved you by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice upon the cross for your sin? Is the fire burning as brightly as it did when God worked miracles in your life in answer to prayer? What of your fire for the Lord today? Did that fire take you to the church house yesterday? Did that fire lead you to the throne of grace last evening? What of that fire for the Lord? Notice in verse 12 above that the responsibility for keeping that fire burning in the tabernacle fell upon the priest. What of your fire today? Will you do what is necessary to keep that fire for the Lord burning in your life or do you pay attention to other things while that fire burns down and eventually out? Today it seems that the spiritual fire that needs to be burning more brightly than ever has all but gone out in the lives of most who claim to know Jesus as their personal savior as it has been replaced with the things of the world and personal interest we deem more worthy than Jesus Christ in our lives. What of your fire today for the Lord today?
