KJV
God is looking for soldiers who will keep going no matter what. David was also faint, David was tired, David was weary, and David kept going. So inspiring was David that four hundred kept going with him and the other two hundred would have if only they had been able. Many have become weary today. Weary with what we are seeing in the world, in our society, in our government. Knowing the Bible, that sin will continue to increase, that the days will grow ever darker and more evil as we near the soon and sure return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it is easy to become weary and faint. But is that what our God wants us to do. We see clearly in the Scriptures it is not. (Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. ; 2 Thess 3:13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.) This preacher, like all who are reading this becomes weary at times. Just the other day an individual had promised me they would do something and when the time came they decided not to fulfil that promise. When called it became obvious they had never intended to. What to do? “ But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.” God is looking for soldiers who will not give in to weariness, but will continue on for Him.
