Gal 5:22-25 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
KJV
How much will our walk match our faith today? When we profess to know Jesus Christ as our savior, when we claim to live in the Spirit, when we claim faith in Christ, shouldn’t our walk then match our faith? We know the answer to that question is yes, but then do we live the answer? That seems to be a problem that arises again and again in our Christian life as we often struggle to live our faith as we should. There will be things set before our eyes this day that we know we should not look at. Will we turn away? There will be thoughts that come into our minds that we know should not be there. Will we dwell upon them? Satan will set many things before us. Will we turn and run from them or run to them? When it seems hard to live your faith one needs to seek the one who has given us life more. Seek Him in prayer more, seek His Word more, seek His presence. Jesus is not hard to find when we need Him the most. (Matt 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.) When you find it hard to live your faith, seek Him more.
