September 12th, 2024 by Pastor Solley2 Peter 3:1-2 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

How often do you need be reminded of things? I need to be reminded often and need to write things down so I do not forget. What was I supposed to do today is often a question I need to ask myself and that seems to be getting worse with age as many well know. So thankful today that I can pick up my Bible and be reminded of the words that have been given to me, to all, by God through the Holy Spirit. One thing I seem to be able to remember is the Bible praise God. While other things escape my memory the Bible is not one of them and that because I am sure the Holy Spirit stirs up my memory. When I become fearful I am reminded that I need not be afraid. (Heb 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.) When I feel none understand what I am going through I am reminded that one has experienced all that I have and does understand. (Heb 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.) When I need rest I am reminded that one has that perfect peace and rest for me. (Matt 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.) So thankful today that the Holy Spirit can stir up our remembrance.
