John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
KJV
Whenever I get to thinking of how many things I have to do, whenever I get to thinking of how many things I have done, whenever I get to thinking of how important I might be, I think of this verse. “Without me ye can do nothing”. What can one do in thins world apart from Jesus Christ? Nothing. What has one done in this world apart from Jesus Christ? Nothing. What will one do in this world without Jesus Christ? Nothing. I have the energy to get up this morning because of Jesus, the strength to walk because of Jesus, the ability to think because of Jesus, even the air I breath into my lungs today is because Jesus made it possible and allows it. What can I do today in and of myself? Nothing. Whenever I get to thinking about self I think of those six words “Without me ye can do nothing”.
