But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

Here we have this man being tormented and destroyed by sin and Satan and when he sees Jesus Christ everything is about to change. Note who it is that first acknowledges Jesus in the passage, not the man possessed, it was the demons who knew that their end was near. Jesus Christ is the answer to every need today as well as tomorrow. How many problems do you have today, how many troubles, how many questions? Are they legion, are they too many to count? Jesus Christ is still the answer to your every need no matter how many or how great they are. The man possessed by the demons is about to be gloriously saved by Jesus Christ. You can be as well today if you but realize that you are a sinner and you need Christ. If you repent from that sin, turn away from sin, and turn to Jesus Christ. If you ask in faith and believing Jesus to save you and place all your hope and trust in Jesus alone, He will save you from sin, hell, and the eternal Lake of Fire for all who refuse Him. Are you lost in sin today, trapped in sin today, have no hope today? The same Jesus that was there for that man in Mark chapter five is there for you today? Will you come to Him and be saved?
