Heb 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I spent most of the night looking out the window at the sky last evening. There would be a flash of lightning and my mind would rush to the soon and sure return of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Matthew 28 and Daniel 10 lightning is used in describing the appearance of Jesus Christ. What if the next flash of lightning would have been accompanied by a shout and trumpet blast? Then we who know Jesus Christ as our personal savior would have be caught up and out of this world. Are you ready for that final flash of lightning? I am not trying to add to the Scriptures as the Bible speaks of the shout and the trumpet blast and not a lightning flash, but I am trying to emphasize that one must be ready for the sure, sudden, and soon return of Jesus Christ. Are you ready today? Are you born again? Have you placed your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone for eternal salvation. There are not many ways to heaven, just one. (Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.) Are you ready to meet Jesus Christ? It will be at the rapture or at the White Throne Judgment and then it will be too late to be saved. Trust Christ today. Confess you are a sinner, repent, and ask Jesus Christ to save you. Then you can join in watching for the return of our Lord and Savior.
