Matt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
KJV
So easy to feel outnumbered today because we as true born again believers in Christ are outnumbered. In these last days when evil is abounding, when sin is praised and good is condemned, when there is no justice, when God is hated and His Word mocked, we are outnumbered. But before we get discouraged let us remember that while we are outnumbered we are NOT out powered. Jesus said that all power belongs to Him and that power is readily available to the child of God. (Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.) What power? God’s power! We have a powerful God, a powerful Savior, and a powerful message to share. (Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.) I will acknowledge this morning that Satan is a powerful enemy and at the same time claim that ours is an ALL-POWERFUL God! Today when the storm clouds begin to arise in your life remember that the very power of the living God is ours in Christ and He will lift us above the storms of this life. All power is still His.
