Prov 31:10-12, 28 -31 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Just a friendly reminder that this coming Sunday is Mother’s Day. Those of us who have been blessed with a Godly mother or were blessed by having a Godly mother will never forget her and those who still have mom should not forget the special day set aside to honor her. What to get mom? Take the time to tell her how much she has meant to you and how thankful you are for her influence on your life. Take the time to tell her you love her and give her a hug. Take the time to thank her for introducing you to Jesus and reading the Bible with you. Take the time to thank her for her prayers over the many years as well as her tears shed for you. Give her of the fruit of her hands by following the example she set for you in the Lord. Take the time to talk to her. Those things I was able to do with my precious mother the day she passed from this life into heaven. We talked, we held hands, we prayed and shared a hug that morning and by evening she had suffered a stroke and we never talked again. How thankful I still am for that morning over twenty years ago. Don’t forget your mom this Mother’s Day.
