Ps 132:1-5 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:
2 How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
5 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
KJV
Do you have a place for the Lord today? Will you make a place for the Lord today? Our days are occupied and our hours filled with many things in this world and at times it seems the one pushed to the side is the Lord. Get up, off to work, home, evenings filled with many things and then the day starts over again. Do you have a place for the Lord today, will you make a place for the Lord today? David refused to give sleep to his eyes until he found time for the Lord? We need to be resolved to do the same today, to make time for the Lord in our busy days. Time to read His Word, time to pray, time to spend silent before the Lord. It will amaze you how much better your days will go when you make a place for the Lord. David even in his afflictions made time for the Lord and may we even in our busy days make time for the Lord.
