John 17:23-26 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
KJV
How can we be made perfect? That was and is a prayer of Jesus for His redeemed. (Verse 23) This world is far from perfect, the church is far from perfect, and Christians are far from perfect. So how can we be made perfect, or can we? Yes we can be made perfect in Christy. Not while in this flesh because we battle the flesh everyday, but in Christ and in Him alone can we be made perfect of complete. And there is coming a day, very soon I hope and pray, that perfection will be ours when we see Jesus. There is a children’s song I like title “He’s Still Working on Me” and I like is so much because it is so true. He is still working on me, working to bring me to perfection, and one day it will be realized when I stand, when all believers stand in the presence of the lord. One day that prayer will be answered in full as every prayer of Jesus was answered in full.
